When you use Minti to manage your collectibles, we store:

• Photos of your collectible items
• Tags, notes, and custom attributes you assign

Marketplace Data

When you use the Minti marketplace, we collect:

• Listing information (prices, descriptions, shipping details)
• Transaction history (purchases, sales, bids)
• Payment information (processed securely by Stripe; we do not store card numbers)
• Shipping addresses

Usage Data

We automatically collect certain information about how you use the app:

3. AI-Powered Features

Minti uses Google's Gemini AI to identify, grade, and value collectibles. When you scan an item:

• Photos are sent to Google Gemini API for analysis
• AI-generated data (identification, condition, estimated values) is stored with your item
• Photos are stored in Firebase Storage associated with your account

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google) — Authentication, database, storage, and hosting
• Stripe — Payment processing for marketplace transactions and subscriptions
• Google Gemini AI — Collectible identification and valuation
• PriceCharting / eBay — Market value reference data

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in these circumstances:

• Public profiles: Your display name, profile photo, and public collections may be visible to other users
• Marketplace transactions: Buyer and seller information is shared as needed to complete purchases and shipments
• Service providers: Third-party services listed above that help us operate Minti
• Legal requirements: If required by law, regulation, or legal process

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

• All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption
• Firebase security rules enforce data access controls
• Payment data is handled by Stripe (PCI-DSS compliant)
• Authentication is managed by Firebase Authentication

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will permanently remove your personal data, collections, items, listings, and associated media within 30 days. Some anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for analytics purposes.

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data stored in Minti
• Update your profile and account information at any time
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Export your collection data (available via PDF and CSV export)
